Gwynn posted an article suggesting that Obama's massive popular support may be weakening as a result of the AIG debacle (among others). You all jumped up and insisted that "It's not so!!!", and have been running around trying to prove that Obama is just as popular and wonderful and messianic as he ever was

Gallup's approval numbers for Obama are at 64% and have been hovering in the 60-65% range for the last month or so. So, no, I don't think support for him has significantly dropped off.

I would guess that perhaps people who post on American Idol fansites aren't representative of the rest of the nation.

And I'm the nutty one suddenly?

I think I speak for everyone when I ask:

What word did you mean to post here in place of "suddenly?":

Again?
Still?
Predictably?

Lol. Um... That response isn't you trying to prove that Obama is just as popular as ever? Let's see. You quote some polls showing his approval number have been "hovering" in the same range since he was elected, and then you tossed an ad hominem at the source of the original article.

Um... Were you trying to refute or support my post?

Um... heh. Lol. Folks. Everyone knows. Obviously, heh.

It's ridicule moron. How many times does it need to be pointed out to you that you're the village idiot and 99% of posts responding to your posts are simply ridicule.

Sheesh. Heh. Everyone knows that, Gbaji. Why else would they respond to your posts? Hmmm? Obviously to ridicule them, you might have missed that. Heh.

Holy sh*t he's actually trying! *applause*
#59REDACTED, Posted: Mar 25 2009 at 2:02 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Actually I was impressed with CNN's coverage of his speech last night. They actually pointed out that Obama kept referencing other sources that support what he was proposing. And here I thought a leader should have the courage to stand on ideals and principles he believes without having to say that his contemporaries agree with him.
