In perusing the news over the last couple days, I've come across two (2) opinion polls about the over all direction of the country.
NPR's shows an all time low in May of 08, where 80% of the respondents thought the country was heading in the wrong direction. Currently only 63% think we're still lost, and 31% are confident we're on track.
Real Clear Politics does an average of many of the polls out there. Their average draws mostly the same conclusion, excepting the low is last fall instead of last spring. However, like NPR's poll, all the polls show the numbers of peoples feeling like we're on the right track is mostly climbing since the beginning of the year.
On a completely different topic (or is it???) the evidence is pretty much conclusive that cows all stand facing the same direction due to the earths magnetic field. They either line up with heads all pointing magnetic north or magnetic south...unless there is something messing with the local magnetic field (high-voltage power lines) cows are always pointing in the right direction.
I just follow the rainbow to my pot of gold;) (Happy st. patty's day!)
