Remember this?

Looks like they are going to give a ruling soon.

I think the guy watched Highlander too many times.

I hadn't heard of this before. At least in Highlander they just cut off his head, this guy apparently began to eat him and shred him to pieces.

The thread title reminded me of the kid who was killed when he stuck his head out the schoolbus window and hit a tree that was close to the road.

I think someone posted this when it happened last year. Looks like the court case resulting from it is finally drawing to an end.

When I was in elementary school, our bus driver told us that she would roll up the window and cut off your head if anyone stuck their head out the window. We were all in kindergarten, so we didn't know that the bus didn't have automatic windows.

We were all very afraid of the driver, she was extremely mean. We all had assigned seats that were assigned by our stop. One day someone was sitting in my seat, and the driver just told me to sit somewhere else. Then when it came to my stop, I got up to get off. The driver told me to sit my *** back down, and that only people sitting in the assigned seat for this stop were allowed off.

My father was at the stop waiting to pick me up. He had to grab the door to the bus as she was closing it, and forced her to let me off.

I thought this was a post about some kind of construction equipment tipping over and severing the forward section of a bus.

This. You should try the Great Dane first.

Sorry, that'll never get old to me.

Yeah, the guy will probably get placed in an Asylum and be forced to participate in political debates, play flash games and post pictures.

I mean, he'll get the help he needs.

So it's been done.

Only 2 days to determine that he was insane... I guess he must've been pretty batty.

This was actually the best thing that could have happened. If he were to be convicted of murder or man slaughter he would be back out on the streets. Atleast this way he "SHOULD" be away for life!

I don't know. Does this mean he'll be held over for trial when and if he's well enough, or does it mean he was mentally ill at the time of the killing and will never be tried for it but could eventually be found mentally healthy enough to leave the hospital?

I read it as the second, but I don't know how these things work in Canadaland.

It means that he's not responsible for the killing because of his mental illness at the time of the killing. He will never be tried in court under this killing because of that.

If he was sane at the time of the killing, but became mentally ill while awaiting trial they could postpone the trial until he's fit to stand before a judge.

That said, he will likely spend longer in a mental institution than he would've in prison so don't think that he's getting off the hook.

Somebody should have killed Bush and claimed he was doing it because God told him too, I'm sure they would have been let off.
