That would be true if furry costumes were the only ones that do that to me. But I'm especially fond of Ren Faire costumes, vampire, anime and especially hot women in handmade WoW armor.

So if you collected stamps, butterflies, and Gundam models, would you deny that you're a philatelist?

Do furries jerk off to stuffed animals? I can just picture them walking down the toy aisle, eyeballing the stuffed animals. "Ooooh yeah... you've got a pretty little mouth, don'tcha, Wolfie? Yeah, I'm gonna call you Wolfie..."

Furries, scarring children since 1992.

Plushies do. Not all furries are plushies and not all plushies are furries but they do tend to overlap.

Well, thanks Anna! I learned even more about Fur-culture.

I have another question. Are there furries that actually want to have sex with animals, for real? And do they ever cross the line? And, if so, what is this subgroup called?

I'd imagine you'd like to stop that line of questioning here. Either you know the answer or you really don't want to know the answer.

Furries aren't necessarily into bestiality, though it isn't a far leap for the fetish. Furries are primarily about anthropomorphism, people with animal characteristics. They're more into cat girls than they're into cats. But yes, there are people who have sex with animals. Oh as for the term, I believe zoophiles is what most call themselves.

They rant against bestiality, but at the heart of the fetish, they all want a little peace of hot animal ***.

Along with the unwashed overweight gamers, Furries are down at the low end of totem pole at SF Cons.

"Furry" is a general term for anyone who gets off on dressing like animals. Or drawn animal ****. It can be birds, dolphins, whatever. Fur itself is irrelevant.

I don't really agree with that statement. I for example find the female pikachu hawt, but I find the other 3 furry images.. ewwish?

I think there's got to be a line somewhere.. like the female pikachu is dressed up like an animal, but she's still mostly human so it's not furry. In before "pikachu isn't an animal!".

Actually, now that I think about it there is a line.

Furry fandom (also known as furrydom, furridom, fur fandom or furdom) refers to the fandom for fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics.[1] Examples of anthropomorphic attributes include exhibiting human intelligence and facial expressions, the ability to speak, walk on two legs, and wear clothes. Furry fandom is also used to refer to the community of artists, writers, role players and general fans of the furry art forms who gather on the net and at conventions.

Characters that morph between human and animal form are also considered by some to be part of the genre. Even certain superheroes with animal derived powers are considered of furry interest by some fans. The general idea being a combination of human and animal attributes, for which there is no documented science regarding what degrees of mixture are required. Even characters like Josie and the Pussycats are considered of interest to furry fandom, though they only wear costumes with animal ears and tails.

Want to **** off the furries? Call them zoophiles. They get angry. Call the zoophiles, bestialists and they'll get angry. Oh boy, everyone is embarrassed to be associated with someone. That's how the OOT feels about Tailmon.

What's the perceived difference between zoophilia and beastiality by those involved?

Zoophilia says it implies love--not even necessary sex, but love (and often sex). On the other hand, beastalists have sex without love, ******** random dogs or horses without regard for their feelings and they do not establish relationships. They are considered to be like rapists.

So no real difference, just the people of the fetish wanting to feel more legitimate.
