Pretty cool game. I'm ashamed to say I had to bruteforce level 7 (I used 40 shapes). I just couldn't find an elegant solution with the limitations of the game (shapes get simplified after you draw them). Presumably there is one, but I can't find it.
I liked that Fantastic Contraption game a bit better because you could set everything up and then hit "Play."
Ooooh... they've got two new pages of contraptions since my last visit.
So... addictive... must... resist... job... apply...
I actually managed to get some work done when my crappy work computer overheated because I was running Flash for too long.

I used 35 shapes, including a slope and lots of swinging parts, square is too confusing :(
Would love to play some more but I have to go and work surrounded by other people now. Definately being bookmarked though :P
