Despite our gloomy economy, there is one fun and amusing story that is always satisfying. What is that? The continued implosion of the republican party.

WHY IS MICHAEL STEEL APOLOGIZING TO RUSH LIMBAUGH? I mean, Jesus dude, don't apologize for dissing @#%^ing pundit? Have some goddamned pride.

Quote:
Mr. Steele bristled after a CNN reporter referred to Mr. Limbaugh as the de facto leader of the party on Saturday. “No he’s not,” Mr. Steele responded. “I’m the de facto leader of the Republican Party.”

“Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer,” he continued. “Rush Limbaugh, the whole thing is entertainment. Yes, it’s incendiary. Yes, it’s ugly.”

Quote:
“It’s time, Mr. Steele, for you to go behind the scenes and start doing the work that you were elected to do instead of trying to be some talking head media star, which you’re having a tough time pulling off,” Mr. Limbaugh said in a transcript of his remarks posted on his Web site.

Good luck republicans. As the rabid dogs chase everyone off, accusing them of being RINOs, we'll all enjoy your further sink into irrelevance.

Steele is pretty irrelevant at the moment, so it's unsurprising that he's apologizing. Rush & Palin have the far right & Christians on lockdown, so it won't be until Romney gets the nomination that moderates "might" take a look at the Republicans again.

The economy is the issue, so until Pubbies can come up with some kind of plan to fix it they're pretty much hosed.

How's the Dem plan coming along? Oh that's right the second it passed the market was down 1k in just a few days. H*ll of a plan there.

Dunno, hasn't been implemented yet. So, the Republican plan of ******** about Obama's while taking 99% of the $ while at the same time crossing their fingers & hoping it fails so they have a chance in 2012 hasn't gone into effect yett, either.

I'll let you know when you let me know how the Pubbie one works out.

Or, at the very least, when Pubbies come up with an actual one.
