I didn't realize it had been so long. The new Zam site looks good Alla, not that I'll use it since I fear change...but that I don't find it horrifying is something! At any rate, here's to another 10 :)

Thanks. I am amazed I am still doing this. I was just posting up something for the hell of it. Who knew I could make a living off this? If you are wondering what we looked like back then, here's the oldest version I can find.

That was actually the snazzy update from my original ugly design.

I think I've been coming here since mid-2000, and I have to say, this is the first time I've clicked the Allakhazam bookmark and thought for a moment that I'd accidentally clicked on my favorite **** site. Really, the resemblance is uncanny.

Thanks for creating a site which has facilitated an unhealthy amount of video gaming. An absolutely irresponsible amount for any adult. Thanks. Also, thanks for giving me a really inappropriate outlet for my everything. And finally, thanks for fostering a community where I met the girl I'm gonna spend my life with. That was really cool of you.

XOXOXO,

Hate the new template : /

Anyone remember when it was originally called the "work-safe template"?

And then it got more fancy graphics and crazy colors with every revision. This one is finally over the limit, gonna have to switch to the EQ template.

EQ template, by the way, is the only one now that still uses black letters on a light background.

I kind of like the new template.

I'll still probably stick with FFXI's template full time, however, because the banner on top with La Vaule is so pretty.

I'm moving to ZAM skin for OOT, and keeping LOTRO skin for the Asylum, because variety is good for the soul. That's two different sites I visit now!

Thank you for partially fulfilling my FFXI needs. Your forums have wasted me into a depraved soul simply seeking guidance and love. Help me.

For Holy Christian guidance and love, see Sogoro.

For guidance on being a man's man, see Uglysasquatch, and for manly love, see Nixnot.

For theoretical sexual guidance, see Nexa, and for Practicals see Niobia.

For shopping guidance, see Thumbelyna, and for unlimited love get a puppy like everyone else.

I fear change (especially the small coins with the sharp edges).

Getting used to it.

Does the WoW parchment template have AIDS or something?

Happy tenth birthday, Allakhazam. The website, that is. The new skin looks cool, but the advertising banner makes it impossible to use the drop down menu on http://www.zam.com/ . Adblock to the rescue!

I just checked the new template, very nice! If I was new to the site I'd use it. But I'll stick with the EQ template, because I'm old and set in my ways.

Grats, Allah! I like how smooth it looks. It's going to take some getting used to but it seems much cleaner than the old forums. Nice.

Cat, just to let you know, Red and I are both taking a break from FFXI for at least a couple of months. Need to deal with some life things first before we deal with game stuff.

Missed this thread, posted my own. I have to say you guys finally have a very snazzy design going. Will it be continuing onto all the other gaming areas?

I particularly enjoyed the skull and crossbones icon for the asylum Smiley: grin

I won't be using the new design, personally. I'll post on the feedback forum when I have a chance.

/signed.

Space at the sides and emo-black look doesn't suit my finicky tastes.

Oddly though, using www.allakhazam.com now uses the old skin, whereas this morning and afternoon it wwas spoofing the zam.com look.

Also, the new zam.com look sounds like a sausage wrapped in newspaper and smells of sky.
