Well, for starters, I don't care that my main account was banned. Hell, I didn't post here for few days or so until I found something worthy making a post about, namely, a soccer game.

What I didn't expect was to be banned again. It just all seems kind of silly really. If I hadn't have been banned in the first place, hell, I probably wouldn't have made more than one or two posts in the last week.

I'm sure what I'm trying to gain from this, but I know what I don't want.

I don't want to lose. Childish, I know. Stupid? You bet. Pointless? Sure! But I feel as if I just said, "Ok, I was banned for absolutely no reason so I guess I just won't post here anymore" I'd somehow be making a concession that I find hard to accept.

P.S. sorry if this gets yer thread nuked Joph.
I HAV SAVD UR POST 4 ALL TIEMZZZZ

I can still see the thread, but I had to make a trade to be able to see dead threads.

While I don't really care one way or another about WarMaverick, I do see the harm in what I'd say was a rather arbitrary banning based on a bad day and a flared temper.

Banning anyone for reasons other than spamming or actually impeding the functioning of the message board is lame. I realize there are liability issues, whine whine whine, but still, it's stupid, easily circumvented by a retarded chimpanzee (as we've seen demonstrated) and arbitrary.

What part of banned is so hard to understand? You think being banned only pertains to a single account? Hah!

I'm sure there's a reason. If not then go to the higher ups. Otherwise you do lose. Creating more accounts and posts isn't an 'lawls i win' button. Trust me you're not winning anything here. You're doing it wrong.

Wrong. He wins any time you reply to one of his posts. If you ceased replying to his posts, then you'd win. It's a zero sum game. His goal is to elicit a reaction from you. He has. He wins. It's not a difficult game, but you're dead wrong in thinking he hasn't been gloriously victorious by any measure.

What if I make him kill himself? I realise it's unlikely, but if it could be done, who would that be a victory for?

In before "mankind".

Oh, I thought it was just an English Muffin perfectly arranged with a dollop of melty butter. Is it something even more tasty? Like a crumpet??

Now I must have one. My next vacation will be to London. I want to hob nob with the snobs and eat crumpets.

Crumpets are full of win.

Toasted with melted butter is good.

Toasted, buttered, topped with Scrambled eggs and Smoked Salmon is orgasmic

You, obviously. Unless you make it obvious, and draw media attention. In that case, I'd say we all win.

So, in order to maximize public benefit, they should create a death match style contest with a prize pool subsidized by the ad-revenue from the broadcasting of said event.

I think we have a new "Survivor" on our hands here. I'll pitch it to CBS.

Mistakes happen. People get upset. Apologies can be made. Did WarMaverick apologise? I did not see one. Also Kaolian did state that he had pushed other admins in the past. I gather this was not an isolated incident and was the end of a long chain.

If Warmaverick is reading, please try to apologise and you may find the admins being reasonable. I would do it in PMs or direct to the Alla accounts email address though Smiley: nod
Even if you feel you had nothing to apologise for in the initial banning, you pushed the envelope with sockpuppets.

As for the board in general jumping on Kaolian right now is hardly fair, give him a break. (As I am sure he would give Warmaverick if he offers an apology). I'm quite sure the admins put up with quite enough and I do wonder how much of our freedom in coming to a fairly clean and spammer free board is down to admins like him. Its easy not to thank others for the good work they do. I now thank Kaolian, DF and all the others Smiley: nod

My local grocery store actually sells crumpets - that look just like the picture. Smiley: smile

Toasted with a bit of butter and some clover honey is my fav.

I like them toasted with melted butter and some really good strawberry preserves OR topped with a one-egg spinach and feta omelet.

I'm not jumping on Kao, I was just tired of entering a conversation and then the thread poofing.

I would request that they deduct the value of the missing words from your premium.

How much is one of Jophs words worth?
