It's impossible to quit WoW. Yes, you're taking a break.

Play FFXI, realise lvl grinding is even worse than wow, get bored and go back.

Alternatively Try and watch all 7 series of 24 back to back in one week.

Neph already played FFXI if I recall correctly. All MMO's end up being a grindfest so far as I know.

Well, yeah; it keeps people playing until they burn out on the game.

The exception being that NO ROLEPLAYING odd game Joph's playing the beta of. Since it has no monthly fee, it might not have a grind to it (other than "okay, now to get my next gear to drop").

Eh, the only game I ever really never felt the level grind in was DAoC. I loved that game, a healthy dose of PvP always made me forget the tedium that I felt while leveling. I'd go back to that game if they made it less of a lag fest.

HKO Starts out as a grindfest. The cutest grindfest in all of grindfestdom, but still a grindfest.

If you are sick and tired of a game where people try to roleplay, and like a game that boasts character instead of newfangled graphical distractions, there is a game that pushes past those trivialities. You can also try to find nuggets and smoke meat.

If you are looking for that type of experience, then I heard Fasaria is really good. Even Jophiel agrees.

For a limited time, I'll even get you into the Beta.

I've talked to one person now in Darkfall beta, but he was just loading the game up last night. Hopefully I'll hear more soon.

I'm only still stuck on LoTRO because of the PvP and because I want my spider to be the most bad-*** piece of chitin EVER found in my lil sand-box.

Seriously Joph, is there anything to this Fasaria game????

I sneak up behind the dreaded roleplayer, raising my axe in order to silence him. There will be no criminals in our land.

Do think you'd enjoy it if you were asleep and a possum crawled up onto your face and began pissing in your mouth?

If not, you probably won't like Fasaria either.
