...I'm watching CNN Live, ***** work, ha! Also: I love Michelle, really I do, but that outfit is almost as bad as the red and black number.

The thing is, I'm sure they're thinking of clothes befitting a first lady...however, she's a YOUNG first lady. She's also a BLACK first lady. They seem to be having a really hard time picking things that are appropriate for her. I realize she's also tall and that can be awkward, but man, it seems like they're swinging wildly between styles/designs that are all unflattering.

Queen Latifah needs to step in.

It seems to me that prior to becoming First Lady, she seemed to be doing quite fine, for the most part, by herself. Why not just let her keep on doing what she was doing beforehand?

The corporate network is crashing, even loading this site takes forever Smiley: banghead

Fortunately, someone brought in a converter box and rabbit ears for the TV we use to play the Wii on, so at least we'll be able to watch.

You're right, I really don't like that dress. It makes her look belly fat when she is not.

Because of Michelle Obama's height and coloring, they really need to look at long, simple lines of clothing in strong basic colors, something to emphasize her strength and smile. They need to stay away from pastels. And if the ensemble already has a pattern, they need to lessen up the jewelry.

It's actually the verbose version of the Bible. Smiley: laugh

I can't wait to see Roberts choke on bile as he issues the oath of office to Obama.

Her poem was rather uninspiring. Kind of hard to follow Obama I suppose. Everyone had already tuned out at that point.

I fully blame horomones, but I cried as Obama was sworn in. I made Xavier sit down and watch with me, and I told him "You will remember this moment for the rest of your life. Maybe not the words, but the moment." Of course he just rolled his eyes, but he sat and watched. And I hope my words ring true years from now.

Streams are all dead at my office. I gave up and read the text on MSNBC instead. I'll watch it tonight after its called down.

2/3 of Americans said they were gonna watch the inauguration, and the way our office has been, I believe it. The only people who aren't all smiles and happy excitement, from what I can tell, are the Republican managerial types.

Even the wannab-PUMA two cubes down from me was super hyper, and sent me what was at the time a working link to the festivities.

Thank jebus for the VCR. I was to receive my final phone interview for unemployment qualification in the 15 minute window surrounding 11:00CST. The lady called immediately after Biden was sworn in. Didn't get off the phone until halfway through Obama's speech.

Damn lady making me defend my honor. Smiley: motz

I'm glad the co-worker brought in the rabbit ears and I got to see it live, somehow adds to the magic of the moment.

I wouldn't say it was entirely hormones DSD, I teared up at a few points myself.
