Only if it's good. If it's bad, it's 100% due to the crippling legacy of the Bush policies. Didn't you learn anything from the last eight years?

You can't use that one, you're better than the republicans remember.

Now suck it up.

Huh. Sounds like you are having a much annoying day. You could take the relax approach, however more immidiatly satisfying would be the "I'm pissed, everyone else had best cower before me and flee in terror" approach. This mostly consists of glaring at them all and altering the height of their office chairs whenever they are not looking. Seems to work well.

At least you don't have to go to the doctors office to find out if your jaw is going to spontaniusly explode due to excess friction or something equily catestrophic, so you've got that going for you?

That would be called "sexual tension", only one way to fix that! Smiley: sly

I'm cheering myself up by reading Rundown's Amazon reviews.

I feel ya on the awful day, Nexa.

Today Tristan woke up in "a mood." Since 5:30 this morning, it's been one long, endless session of continuous, back-to-back tantrums. And since he was awake and/or restless for two hours in the middle of the night, I haven't gotten enough sleep to be able to handle it gracefully and have lost my cool a couple times, including when I wasn't able to watch the inauguration because even though he kept asking for yogurt, he would throw a tantrum whenever I tried to go GET him some yogurt, and then he'd get even more hysterical and start demanding it again when I told him he didn't have to have yogurt if he didn't want it.

Apparently he's decided 20 months is plenty old enough to start with the "terrible twos."

Thankfully, a telemarketer called just as I was on my way to put him down for a nap, so I had someone on whom I could take my frustration out.

A guy I work with had a knifey-doctor-instrument-thing stuck up his nose to remove a cyst/growth that was behind one of his eyes, putting pressure on some part of his nose or brain making it so he couldn't smell anything.

I can think of one thing about today that absolutely does not suck.

99 cent cheeseburgers at McDonald's? I know, I'm excited about that too.

Between the weather, busy signals trying to cancel appointment yesterday and fact that my driver's car was stolen last night, last 3 days have been full of Fail.

still I'm feeling a bit of the High over fact that yesterday we got rid of bush and welcome in our New President Obama. Hopefully trip to library and ER to get stitches out will not be affected by the fail that hangs over us.

This. Although, the damage done to the vehicle yesterday was inconsequential and she wouldn't even let me give her $10 for it, haha.

Why is that exactly? At Wendy's you can get 99 cent Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers everyday. They are far superior in all ways to the McDonald's burgers.

It was a joke. I knew she was talking about Obama, but I wanted to juxtapose it with something mundane.
