Today I need to wash hair and then get long johns wash. Wind chill warning today so dress in several layers in front of portable heaters as I catch up on board and news.
Living withing 100 miles of inauguration, has area going nuts trying to handle the overflow. I plan Sunday to hide from the madness.
Saturday, I'm debating whither I will try to attend Obama and Biden's Whistle Stop Tour downtown at War Memorial Plaza. They plan to have just one gate into the area for Security and start allowing folks in at 1:00pm so it means a 3 and a half hour wait in the cold.
I've got ton of invites to community events for the Nation Day of Service, Monday. May try to make one if I feel up to going out.
Tuesday morning I have to go to Social Security office for SSI review. I blame Bush appointees for trying to rain on my wish to be at the Mall for the inauguration. All attempts for tickets failed, so I had just hope to find a warm building with large screen to watch the ceremony on. Not sure I'll be able to get to Senator Movie Theater in time to beat the masses.
