Doom was already taken this morning.

Busy day today. Touring a private school for Mia, dropping off a bed that I'm giving away, making Playdoh snakes and ladybugs, organizing some clothes and toys for charity. Tonight DSD is babysitting for me while the Mr. and I go to a movie and a drink. It's been ages since we've done that. Any good movie suggestions?

Saturday and Sunday are going to be cool here so I imagine we'll try and entertain the kids with indoor activities like swimming and mall play spaces. Looking forward to both of kids coming down with a cold next week. :/

Whachoo got?

Bought a new house last weekend, on condition of ours selling. Listed ours 2 days ago and had a showing yesterday...except we weren't ready for the showing. This weekend consists of packing some clutter up and moving it to storage to "open up" our house more. Need to get painting done and some small repairs too. Also, need to chose a hotel in Orlando for our trip to Disney. We're going while i'm in Florida attending a hotel conference.

OK, really, I'm at the hotel conference so work would pay for one ticket and part of our accommodations.

nightmare, then lunch with my nephew and sis-in-law, then family drama most likely followed by a long trip home.

Yoga, footy, weed, WOW, drinks with friends, and a job application. Maybe try to catch Capote, or Happy-go-lucky at some point.

And sleep. Lots of sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

Sleeping in tomorrow for starters. Maybe get my oil changed sometime Saturday, then after that, several metric tonnes of dork time. I've gotten back into trading card games, so now I'm preparing a deck/decks for a series of Magic: the Gathering tournaments that I plan on attending in the next several weeks. My desk is littered with cards. Smiley: lol

Might squeeze some WoW in there somewhere. My DK is just begging to be level 80.

Oh, and because of good ol' MLK, Jr. I have 3 days off. Thank you, equal rights movement.

Hannah and I are heading down to the House of Roo this evening and driving back up on Monday. Not quite sure what we're going to do for the weekend. I will likely be doing a fair bit of reading for class over the weekend as well.

Any good kids movies in the theaters at present?

Despereaux? I haven't seen it, but looks like it might be OK. Not sure if it's over Hannah's age though.

She actually went with her dad and his girlfriend over Christmas weekend and saw that one...she loved it! It was the first movie she's been to in the theater. I'm looking forward to taking her. The ex said she clapped at the end, hahaha.

You could try Bedtime Stories. I thought it was worth watching. I'd think it would be a little too much for a typical 3 year old, but Hannah's not typical is she.

Marley and Me was a decent movie for Owen Wilson. We laughed, we cried, we enjoyed it through and through. For a true kid's movie, Hotel for Dogs launches today.

No idea. I'm sure Flea will want to stay in given the weather. But it's supposed to be above zero this weekend and, after the last couple of days, I may break out my swim trunks and the polyester short-sleeve shirt with the 50's pin-up girls on it.

I've heard Gran Torino was pretty good - it's getting good reviews.

I've no plans for this three day weekend what-so-ever. Not sure if the hubby has made any. It's icy cold out, so will likely not be out much. Maybe I'll bake something.

I really wanted to go stay at an indoor water park this weekend, but didn't think of it until the middle of the week and they're now fully booked. We'll be going for my birthday instead.

I'm waiting on a phonecall from the midwife to see if I need to pop in for a quick check up. Little one has been a wee bit too quiet and I tend to go into panic mode if I feel nothing for a week. I'm off to read to Xaviers class this afternoon, Tare is a hero in allowing us to use one of her toddler beds for Ashe. We're going to see if it helps him sleep better instead of kicking the sides of the crib for hours at a time. Tonight I shall babysit the little Tares, ensuring they have peaceful, candy filled dreams while the parents go out and have fun.
No plans for this weekend though. It's supposed to actually be cold so we'll all bundle up and hang out at home most likely.

Sleeping today, mostly. Have class from 5pm to 1am, would like to actually be awake during it.

I'll be spending part of the weekend helping to plan my girlfriends trip down here for spring break. March can't come soon enough. The rest of the weekend will be spent studying.

Making more boxes, and putting thingies into boxes! Still awaiting signing of closing papers on house. All my paperwork is done. House passed inspection with flying colors, Appraised at $40k over what I paid for it. Just waiting on stupid HUD to set up the signing time since they own it curently. It looks like they are holding out for the absolute last minute. Increadibly annoying considering the house currently stands empty.

I already have a list of things that need to be done to house:
Epoxy paint coat garage floor to protect it from CNC machine
Install garage door opener kit
Install new kitchen faucet and water filtration system (maybe instant hot water too if I can find an inexpensive kit)
Install foot rail on front of kitchen island bar area
Wire house for Network and Audio
Buy garden hose
Build some sort of workbench in garage
Hide death ray control console
Build submarine escape tunnel.

Other than that, might head up to tacoma on Sunday too.

I hate appartments. I need out of here before I kill the next person who plays country music full blast at 2 am with their own speakers and sell their organs on ebay.

The landlord came to visit, and apparently they're going to get my balcony door fixed. It is glued shut.
Will do some laundry later, and go grocery shopping.
Work on the weekend, yay.

Take the family out to dinner tonight.

Saturday is a day for the wife and I, to enjoy ourselves together.

Sunday is a day to spend with the kids, and catch up on my honey-do-list, on things inside the house.

Monday, going to sleep in and relax, and think about where I want to go on my next set of orders (ship wise).

Date night with Ray tonight. It's Restaurant Week in San Diego, where a lot of 3-5 star restaurants have set menus at lower prices. So we're heading to one of the steakhouses. But I told hubby that at $20 a person for a 3 course dinner (not including drinks, tip, etc.), he shouldn't be expecting a 32 ounce steak on his plate. I'm sure we'll go to In-n-Out afterwards. Smiley: laugh

Saturday, please pray for me. Our oldest son got his driver's permit and I am taking him for his first driving lesson. Otherwise, housework again and maybe a DVD.

Sunday, Church, another driving lesson probably, housework and laundry.

Monday, Ray and the kids have the day off. I don't. They'll probably meet me for lunch.

I saw it. It was ok, but definitely not one of Eastwood's best. A lot of the dialogue seemed forced, like he was just looking for an excuse to add some more memorable tough-guy quotes to his portfolio to go along with "Do ya feel lucky, punk?". "Get off of my lawn!" and lots of racist slurs just don't have the same ring to them, though.

Go see Slumdog Millionaire if you haven't already. It was kind of cheesy at times, but it was still one best films I've seen in quite awhile.

Not many plans yet for this weekend. I'm working on Monday and the fiance is probably working on Sunday for 2x overtime pay. We're going to a party on Saturday night, and I might go see Milk or The Wrestler tonight. I guess at some point we're going to need to start looking for a caterer, band, hotel, etc. for our wedding, and also resume our house search which we put on hold over the holidays. Stupid Boston-area house/condo prices just refuse to go down, even in this market ><.
