I'm an evil person, I know, but I'm less worried about Israel and Gaza and more worried about whether or not I'll be laid off next month. If they blew each other up completely next month, I wouldn't care, as long as I still had my job.

Rumor has it that Palestine puts out on the first date. Even more reason to hate Israel. I hear she's wild in the sack too.

Enough of you cared enough to send US$3 billion in 'aid' to go to Israel last year.

And I'm assuming that all those F16's, Apache helicopters and feck knows what else that has made Israels IDF so efficient at killing, were sent by someone who has some 'interest'.

Good luck with the job tho'. Perhaps if you lose it, you could go and travel some? It might expand your mind a bit. You know, discover that there is a world full of living, breathing, bleeding people outside of your own small comfort zone.

Not having a job means you travel less, because you have no money.

I spent the best part of 20 years travelling without a 'job'.

So I guess that means you're both wrong.

Maybe he'd like to travel under different circumstances.

Boy, for someone who wants to broaden thoughts, you sure are stuck in your mindset! Smiley: laugh

Don't you know anything?! They hop on trains and then they cook beans over trash can fires when they stop and they have a metal spoon and bowl they carry with them and reuse everywhere.

I learned this from the Journey of Nattie Gann (sp)

My grandfather was a bona fide hobo during the Depression. Lost his best friend when his friend misjudged a jump onto a train and everything.

My grandmother used to feed hobos during the Depression. She'd add water to the soup and find them some work to do to pay for it - not hard around a farm.

She still lived in that house when I was a little kid. My great uncle showed me the hobo mark on the fence post that meant "kind woman". She never let them paint over that. She was proud of it.

US media bored with reporting on the horrendous one-sided slaughter of children in Gaza any more?

Israeli offensive in Gaza death toll: 900 Palestinians - over half civilian, reportedly as many as 30% children, 10 Israeli soldiers.

The die-off of news on the conflict is rather sad.
