Hard work is virtue

Brushing hair from eyes
Hanna head butts his privates
Must get hair cut soon

Haiku's are meant to be descriptive and should zoom in or out of the subject being focus on. I've been writing them since 5th grade and been told I have a good grasp on how to write them for a English speaker, who can't speak, read or write Japanese. Though it's been said that I can't write or speak English also. Elnese is a very rare language, first named by an former lover. I make up for that, by learning to read on my own and always scoring in top 1% on reading tests.

I would have to go hunt through my papers to find one of the Haiku's I've written over the years.

realized I should edit spelling from Elnese to English.

That's funny. I was in fifth grade as well when introduced to Haiku. We were taught the technique and sent outside to a little enclosed garden area and given 1/2hour to write Haiku poems. Think I burned off 1/2 dozen or more. I remember thinking it was SO easy compared to having to make stuff rhyme.

From what I remember they are traditionally about the natural world and more specifically the seasons.

I like this. It's very picturesque. AND it's ON TOPIC.

You don't speak Elnese! She was going for Brushing, not Pushing, and missed the R.
