If the person acts old, they're old.

If the person acts young, they're young.

Bottom line for me, really.

My grandmother drools and has to wear diapers. So does my newborn niece.

My dad is like... somewhere near 54ish? I don't consider him old, so I had to go with "Wish this poll went higher."

70 is old.

When I start thinking that 70 is not old, I shall start getting very, very scared.

My mom is in her late 50's and I dont consider her old at all. Maybe it's about 65 you start realizing you're getting past those golden years and then by 70 I would say officially old. Then again I've met some people in their 70's that could put a 50 yr old to shame in their spryness. It all depends on a persons personality, and their zest for life. You can have an old 40 yr old.

I didn't see "Nobby" as an option, so I didn't vote.

My only concern for age in this forum is whether I can get arrested for asking a female poster for pics of her fun parts. As long as they are older than that, I'm golden.

I've noticed that as I get older, people my age seem younger.

When I was 10, I'd think someone who was 30 was ancient.

Now I see other late twenty somethings and early thirty somethings, and think they look perfectly normal and still quite young.

And middle aged folks, 40+ ish, no longer look so old.

My "old" threshehold is probably around 48+ at the youngest.

I firmly believe that all adults are still ten year olds playing dress-up, to some extent. You only truly become "old" when you lose touch with your inner ten year old, leaving you with only the outer husk of an aged and miserable body.

That never goes away. And in the same way that the definition of an alcoholic is "anyone who drinks more than I do", so Joph's comment was about right.

On another level, it's contextual. In recent years I've dated some very old 20-somethings and some pretty gymnastic & youthful 30 & 40-somethings.

I completely agree Smiley: smile

I've known some 40 years old teenagers and some teenage like 30 somethings. I love people who can be both, fun with experience Smiley: nod

I refused to participate in your sucky poll because you are a blatent age-ist. Old is *always* ten years older than what I am, and considering your numbers only went as high as 48-- a number reflecting your own terrible lack of ability to count any higher, one undoubtedly due to some horrible congenital defect. That my age is quite close to your highest possible choice has no bearing on this discussion.

I pity you for your mentally handicapped state, Gwyn.

I thought Nobby's age stayed at a constant double what DF's age was.
