I voted zombies as I would have no trouble killing things that are already dead. Morally I would still have problems killing ***** as they are living beings.

I say this only because I don't currently have any zombie killing games on my computer. I do, however, have Hidden & Dangerous 2, which is great for killing ***** (not to mention Italians and Japanese). The Italians may be even more fun than the *****... once in a while when you shoot one of them, he'll yell "Son of a Jew!" (at least, that's what it sounds like).

That's a difficult comparison, there's been too much time between so trying to say one is better than the other isn't really fair. Though I did pick up Left 4 Dead last week, and have played it twice, it's definitely a blast.
As to the original question, I went with zombies even though the ***** have better dialogue.

I went with zombies just because everyone else did and it's just easier to fall in with the crowd.
I voted *****. In most of my WW2 miniature play I would always chose Allied over ****.
Which reminds me of the game version galled Panzer Troll. Started out as a ww2 miniatures battle and ended up with germans fighting orcs, trolls, undead.
