Should you not feel like coming here and arguing with bozos on your coffee break, you can now head to places like Underland Press and read the next installment of some (hopefully) gripping fictional web-based novel, or 'wovel'.

I like the idea. The current wovel being posted is called Firstworld. It's a sci/fi story, and while I'm not completely caught up with it, it's not been too bad of a read.

Anyone know of any other wovel sites?

Wovel? Seriously? Smiley: um

It'd be nice to see fiction writing take up an organized role on the web (as opposed to scattered throughout thousands of personal user pages), but I kinda thought eBooks would take care of the void there. Wovel certainly wouldn't be my choice of terminology.

But everybody loves a spork. Smiley: grin

Apparently a wheeled snow-shovel is also known as a wovel. Wonder how well it actually works?

I learned on Jeopardy last night that spam delivered via instant message is known as "spim"...I'm glad I use IM rarely I suppose.

You named Inlee after the Rabbit of Death?

(I watched Watership Down over the holidays after learning that neither my daughter, the girl with a college degree in 'movies', or her boyfriend, the Summa *** Laude English major, hadn't seen the movie or read the book. What are they teaching kids in college these days?!Smiley: oyvey)

This.

And I made a "blog" for Kile; it's up on the link bar in Firefox. I titled it "My Bleeding ******". I don't think he's ever opened it, but I think when he does, good stuff will come out.
