I = house owner. And this time I have the signed paperwork to prove it!

Home inspection occurs Monday, then some more stuff happens, then I move in!

Hope to God you didn't get an ARM. 5% fixed should be wholly doable these days; anything higher than 7% fixed means you got robbed.

Shouldn't the home inspection occur before you sign the papers? Now you're going to find out slave run zinc mines in the back yard. Smiley: oyvey

Not sure why they put copyright dates on all these pictures from theior website, but eh. Not much of a yard to speak of, but I'm allergic to grass anyways.

I have a lake with fish in it less than 5 minutes walk, but I am high enough that no flooding is possible. 10 mintue commute to work.

I'm withholding my congratulations until you've closed, just in case I jinxed the last one.

Actually, let me know when you've moved in, painted, made some sort of renovation, etc...just in case.

Big yards suck anyway. Of course not being able to reach out your own window and into your neighbor's has its charms as well.

Either way, looks like some pretty nice digs. Congratulations.

If you think it was expensive to buy, just wait until you see how expensive it is to maintain.

Also... if you do go the puppy route, get an invisible fence. They're great to keep you dogs locked up in their little puppy Birkenau.

Though the thought of some of you knowing where I live would be somewhat... scary?

Looks nice.

I want a garage. Don't have the money to spend to build one though. I've got plans to have a pretty big one built next to my house.

Just don't have time to start, or funds to keep it going.

Why no fridge? Isn't that one of them required things before they'll approve the place for a mortgage?

Anyway congrats Smiley: grin - hope everything goes smoothly.

Hell, we ain't picky, a cooler with ice would work just fine. I'd even splurge for the ice! And you could always just pick us up at the airport and drive us in blind-folded. It'd be like the hobbits going to Elrond's place.

I'm such a geek.
