NPR has a program called The Writer's Almanac, hosted by Garrison Keillor. Our local public radio station broadcasts it on weekday mornings at 9:00am..it's only a 5min program. More often than not it's Keillor reciting some bit of poetry. It's nice.

The BBC broadcasts that and I catch it whenever I can.
Keillor is a wordsmith and evokes a charm and lyricism that proves he's clearly British
My point in another thread is that America has a tradition of the evocative narrator, and this guy proves the point.
