12:00 PM: Woo company lunch.
2:30 PM: Boring graduation ceremony is boring.
5:30 PM: Reception at his advisor's house. Much time spent avoiding awkward conversations with his parents.
8:00 PM: Escape! Run home to change clothes and feed the cats.
9:00 PM: Round of high gravity beers at The Globe.
10:00 PM: Bottle of Malbec at the Transmetropolitan, with a pizza.
11:00 PM: Several rounds at Rye Bar to a nice live band. There are perks to living in Athens, GA.
12:00 AM: He decides he wants his annual cigar. How can I say no, even though I'm allergic to the smoke and will end up very VERY ill?
1:00 AM: Failed attempt at sobering up at The Grill, in which I end up projectile vomiting into the toilet from my previous exposure to the smoke.

Note: I have not vomited from alcohol consumption in 7 years, when I first discovered that I cannot handle alcohol+ciggy smoke.

1:30 AM: Our designated driver finishes her hot chocolate and calls it a night. I frantically brush my teeth and shower, while he moans in complaint in the chair beside me.

2:00 AM: Apparently, we crash now.

Congratulations, Mr. PhD fiance o' mine. You done graduated.
