Anyone here remember Drew Peterson, the cop from the Chicago suburbs who made national news when his wife went "missing" and whose previous wife's accidental death was reclassified as a murder? Well, here's good news for anyone who thought they could never get married...
The Trib wrote:
Drew Peterson, who is still married to his missing wife Stacy, is now engaged to a 23-year-old Chicago-area woman, his publicist said today.

Glenn Selig said the 54-year-old former police sergeant has been seeing the woman for about four months. She's the same age Stacy was when she disappeared last October. If they marry, she will be Peterson's fifth wife.
[...]
Selig also noted that Peterson was in the process of getting divorced from his third wife, Kathleen Savio, when he got engaged to Stacy.

Savio, 40, was found dead in an empty bathtub in her Bolingbrook home. Her divorce from Peterson was only weeks from being finalized.

Although her death initially was ruled an accident, authorities reclassified it as murder after a second autopsy was conducted in the wake of Stacy Peterson's disappearance.

Am I the only one confused by the fact that he has a publicist?

He was in the media spotlight for years. He had to have someone handle all the **** for him.

It's not that odd. It's just someone to talk to the media rather than him. If I were in his position I definitely wouldn't be up to talking to the media.

I don't even know what to say. But then again, I know that wife-killer Scott Peterson (no relation to Drew Peterson) has one of the highest volume of "fan mail" from women. You'd be surprixed at how many women really feel that they're the ones that can be THE ONE to fix a man and his problems.

Just think, this guy has a higher chance of producing offspring than most men.

Darwin was an idiot.

He just forgot to factor in the variable "Women who think that they can fix the 'dangerous' man."

How was he supposed to anticipate female stupidity?

He looks like a walrus to me, and not in a good way, like Craig Statler. how the hell does he keep getting these increasingly younger wives?

Scott and Drew Petersen, I keep getting those two mixed up.

Darwin wasn't talking about anything as irrational as humans.

If sea slugs read Harlequin romances you'd have a point, sort of.

You've clearly never visited a DMV.

Sea slugs working at the DMV would provide a marked improvement.

Just think, this guy, who is apparently ridding the gene pool of stupid child-bearing females, has a higher chance of producing offspring than most men.

Darwin was a genius.

Reminds me of the woman who married Richard "Night Stalker" Ramirez. Some people are weird and/or have no common sense.
