Long story short, Today took my crestign emotions and shot a big .50 call hole through them. Houses suck. Realtors suck.Enemy realtors who say "oh yes you have the house the paperwork is on its way to your realtor for you to sign... haha just kidding we went with the lower offer because they offered mroe down DIAF K thx" suck.

That is all

Aww, I'm so sorry Kao, but it may end up being better in the end. The first house I made an offer on declined and took a lower offer made by a carpenter who paid in cash. The carpenter fixed the place up, added an extension, made it really nice...it's a super cute house now...and still for sale...3 years later...

The second house I made an offer on accepted. However, much as I loved it, the housing inspector said that he wouldn't purchase it even if he were moving in with a carpenter, and electrician, and a plumber.

The third house was out of my price range. However, it needed *nothing*. New roof, new furnace, new water heater, new siding, new replacement windows, etc. It's the one I live in now. SO, I'm really glad that I didn't get either of the first two houses because this little place has been great.

House shopping is teh suck though...I feel your pain. Better luck next time sweets.

Thanks. I'm still annoyed at them, especially since they got my hopes up and actually verbally said I got it. Oh well, I bet it smelled funny or something. yeah. That must be it.

Well, I can tell from their ****** garbage can that the previous tenants probably didn't take very good care of it. Only one garbage can? The basement was probably full of bodies and mold.

Given the economic situation you're probably better off, because in a few more months, there will be even more houses on the market and you're likely to find one that's dirt cheap because someone is willing to take anything to get rid of it. Karma's looking out for you, but has to give you a few slaps to make sure you don't take it for granted.

That's just the pits.

No worries dude, it'll work out. The house you do land will be all the sweeter.
