Now you can have one ..

I saw this, read it and then worried that the picture was of the transplantee trying to hold her new face on Smiley: eek

I'm just all "EWWWWWWWW!" out now ...

How long was the donor dead? Killed immediately on site to preserve the freshness?

I remember the french lady. She was so torn up by her dog that no amount of plastic surgery could fix her.

Similar but not requiring a face transplant was that Iraqi kid who was on CNN for like a whole year . . . he was doused in gasoline and set on fire. Pretty much his whole face melted. One of the international burn victim charities paid to move his whole family to the US indefinitely while he underwent radical plastic surgery to repair the scarred tissue. Last time I saw a picture of him, he was almost back to normal.
