I've been book shopping for the holidays.

Apparently way back when, someone jokingly challenged Hemingway to write a full story in six words. His story - "For Sale: Baby shoes, never worn."

It gave rise to the simple, yet profound (Smiley: rolleyes) 6-word statement. The book I was looking at was Six Word Memoirs.

Examples from the book: Aimee Mann - "I couldn't cope, so I wrote songs", Stephen Colbert - "Well, I thought it was funny."

It's perfect forum fodder.
