Another weekend is here! Yours had better be laden with debauchery, perversity and indulgence. Smiley: mad

Mine involves:

Mia's birthday party on Saturday. Princesses of the world, unite and take over!

Sunday will be a yard day. Maybe put up the outdoor Christmas lights. Maybe take the kids to see Santa. In between all that, I shall be EQing, watching the Oilers stink the joint out and catching up on 30 Rock.

I'm going to Paris for the week-end, to see the family and have a pre-Christmas Christmas dinner. Taking the Eurostar this afternoon, which also means I finish work a bit early, so hurrah!

If the weather is good one day or the other, we're getting a Christmas tree.

I will be doing as little as possible.

RE: Tare EQ'ing... I fired up EQ2 last night just to see if my vid card would handle it. I got a black screen after about 10 minutes, haha.

Maybe Santa will come early Smiley: grin

I haven't been playing much either. I'm just kinda "meh" about it right now.

I've almost got the hubby to agree to go on an 'artwalk' through town this evening with me.

I think it's time to start holiday baking. So, that'll mean a good thorough grocery shopping (blech).

I need to get the outside of the house and the yard spruced up and lookin' purty for the holidays.

..oh and I have homework to get done and some LoTROing to do.

Well we were supposed to go celebrate Princess Mias birthday, but Xavier has pink cheek syndrome (see 5ths disease) and with another PG lady joining the festivities, we're going to hang low and not take any chances, since the rest of us dont know if we have it.

Tonight we're going to pop in downtown and join the winter festivities they have going on. Spiced cider, sleigh rides (how theyre doing this I Have no idea since we have no snow), Santa, and a bunch of other stuff.

Tomorrow evening there is a parade that starts on the street next to us, so we'll walk over and watch that.

Sunday is still up in the air.

If it warms up a little bit, we may be taking Tristan to see ZooLights. I'm also trying to convince Mr. Ambrya to take him to the Children's Museum for a few hours one morning so I can spend some quality time with WoW.

As an alternative to ZooLights, we might go see the light display at the Portland International Raceway, since that can be done from a warm car. It's below freezing right now, and while that may not be cold for some of you, for us it happens rarely enough that our "winter coats" are nothing more than hoody sweatshirts. Typical winter weather here is low-40s.

I'm going to stay inside and stay warm. Other than that, maybe play some Fallout 3 on the ol' X-Box. If I get in the mood, I might do some Christmas shopping on-line this weekend, but I'm sorely tempted to blame the economy and just give out cards this year.

The highlight of my weekend is going to be getting my washing machine fixed so I can tackle the enormous pile of laundry. (We replaced the fill hoses just a few weeks back, only to learn that the wastewater hose also had dry rot. Lovely.)

This weekend will likely be filled with pain and suffering.

My wife is losing her job; Steve & Barry's is closing shop at the end of this month. We were planning on moving up to Albany in the spring where she was going to be a manager at the S&B store up there, but that isn't happening. We still have to move, though, because our landlady is on our case about some back rent and trying to force us out. So we need to move to my mom's for the winter. And she (wife, not mom) learned of a thing called "chemical pregnancy".

So, yeah, this was a good time to quit smoking things. I think I'll switch to huffing paint.

It's time slip day so I don't go in until 1pm today. Hopefully it takes several hours because I missed Monday from MrKatie poisoning me and then I had yesterday off for training day so I'd like to make up some of the hours.

Decent quality clothes, low prices, celebrity lines. A lot of collegiate (t-shirts and sweatshirts) with some business-casual type as well as seasonal wear. A great store, really, but the problem is they went apeShit with investor backing, opened up about 10 billin new stores in the last 2 years, then lost their backing and now have to fold up completely.

The funny thing (not haha-funny, but tragic-funny) about the chemical pregnany is this: after Thom, we said "no more". She refused to go through pregnancy again; adoption was bandied about for the future. Once she thought she was preggers again, she was at first pissed (at me and my steel sperm) but then came around. Now that we're soon to be homeless and unemployed, we also find out she's not pregnant and is, well, devastated. Our lives together have been constant suck: we found out Thom was coming into the world the same day I found out I was losing my previous job.

There's my sob story of the month.

Add me to the list...and give Thom an extra squeeze.

I managed to find a couple of pie birds for my wife for Christmas. We won't have much money for gifts this year and I know she wanted one of these, so it is something fun and unique that I think she'll like.

Tomorrow morning daycare will have Santa so we'll bring the kids in to watch them scream and cry on his lap Smiley: thumbsup
