While I wish the Official Alabama Black Snake much safe flight and quick returns, it made me start wondering. If something happened to you would someone know to let your "imaginary" internet friends know? We all have friendships and ties off line but would your spouse know to call up who ever in Cali/Floridia/Canukland to let them know you were gone?

I would be one where months would go by and someone would say "Whatever happened to that Kakar guy?" and no one would know.

Nexa has barred me from doing such a thing, but we'll have a secret code, shall we? Just between us. If I ever say Nexa "Is riding the ******* train to crazytown" you'll know something's gone awry.

I'm sure that if Pikko or DF hasn't heard from me in awhile, they'd find a way to get a hold of Ray to see what's going on. But I know that Ray wouldn't even think of letting you guys know.

I would!

I highly doubt MrKatie would think to tell you guys. I'm going to have to let him know to do that.

It's in my last will and testament that Mrs. Totem will notify the Asylum of my demise and promptly dispense all of my earthly possessions to the fine Democrats here in good standing with Howard Dean-- all in the spirit of lazy people taking all the stuff they never earned from hard working 'Mericans.

Just sayin'.

Tare gets the Babies, especially Schatzi, my favorite poodle since she's been so nice to me and she's a Canadian and all.

Out of curiosity: will you be buried, cremated, or taken to the taxidermist and then used for target practice?

Ok, so I've just told my partner to let the OOT know if something major happened to me. Christ, I have more regular friendships that began or are based out of the OOT than I met elsewhere, these days.

I don't think my gf would in any kind of state to let you know I if died.

So if I ever stop posting for more than a few days, please assume the worst. Yes, it's likely I will have been eaten by a gigantic mutated nuclear rat-cockroach hybrid. I'll be expecting a virtual state funeral with honours.

Almost, Tare. She's from Nor-Cal, which is basically the same thing, just without the mukluks, igloos, and meeses.

I know MrKatie knows about you guys, he reads over my shoulder quite a bit. I just don't know if he knows that I would want him to let you guys know. I refuse to slip quietly into the dark! I do get curious when I haven't seen posters around for a bit. I wonder where they went, if they are ok or if they were one of the many horrific car accidents you see on TV.

My list of who I'd like to find out what happened to:

1. AngryHippo - last I heard he was off to Iraq
2. Thundra- the real one
3. Tormentcia- she just kind of disappeared
4. Wint- who?

Eh, Tormentcia said she was leaving. AH will be fine as long as he has drugs and bagels a'plenty.

Thundra, yeah, whatever. I wonder if he ever figured out he was not Keyser Soze.

Yeah, I know Torm said she was going but I still wonder what happened to her. I would wonder about the lesbian banjo players but I often get the feeling at least one of them is back in alternate form. In honesty I hope AH is fine, I hope the Army turned his *** around and he'll live to see his 30th birthday. Thundra was hilarious, I placed him up there with Totem. Both try to be hard asses but both still come off as cuddly teddy bears.

I doubt the hubby would think to let you guys know if something happened to me. Well, maybe... he's got his own online thing going, so he might think about it a few months after the fact.
