Well, I leave for Angola on Thursday. Please do not rob my home while I'm away. And yes, while I am excited to begin a new phase in my flying career, I am still a little bit nervous about it all.

Things had kind of dragged to an informational standstill, when over the last three days things have been progressing at a frentic pace. I've been singlehandedly embarking on my own personal economic stimulus package to keep the California economy afloat. There's a ton of stuff I need before I go.

Yikes!

Congrats Totes!

But the really important question is, where will the poodles live?

The Best of British Luck old chap.

Here's hoping the adventure has all the adrenaline and none of the grief.

You must be delighted that you'll blend in perfectly with your bruthas from de mudda-country.

Stiff upper lip and all that. Pip Pip.

Well, I'm down to my second to last day at work and it's been all goodbyes, tears, and "don't let the door hit you on the a$$ on the way out" smack. It's been a good 14 years here at Mediflight except when it hasn't been, but in truth it's the people I will miss. I've never lived anywhere for longer than three years anywhere in my life, so a decade and a half was a real eye opener on how to actually maintain friendships and being a good neighbor.

I know most, if not all of you, take such things for granted, but as an Army brat *** Army careerist *** civilian commercial helicopter pilot I have never experienced any kind of longevity in my life. My family is the only thing I've known that extended past a three year window.

Anyhow, I'm on to a new adventure day after tomorrow. My posts will become far and few between-- at least while I'm out of country --and I wanted you guys to know that this place has been much fun for me for a long, long time. I'll take some pics of me and my homeboys, the Tutsies and Hoodoos or Hoo-toos or whatever they call themselves, along with all the monkeyes and lions and rhinos that I come across on my trip. When I get back I'll post them for you to photoshop and label as the "gayest straight spearchucker" or somesuch, as I'm certain you will.

Watch out for them head-shrinkers. Smiley: yikes

Be careful. Have fun. The Asylum will be lacking until you can, once again, make regular posting appearances. Smiley: flowers

Be safe, take care. Post when you can, or make Mrs. Totem start an account and post on your behalf. Or Schatzie. Someone.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Unlikely in Kenya, most of them live in Aussie or NZ now.
