Today I'm thankful for my family, friends, my good health, Wrath of the Lich King, Allakhazam and much, much more. Thank God for all of those things!

What are you thankful for?

5 day weekends and a nice chunky groundswell at my local surf-break with light offshore winds. Smiley: cool

And the Mines of Moria (to keep it in the spirit of a gaming site).

I'm not giving anyone called God any credit tho Smiley: disappointed

I have a marvelous husband who is a terrific and amazingly patient father. I have a gorgeous son who is healthy and intelligent. I have wonderful, supportive in-laws who don't annoy me much at all and my side of the family is a perfect 2000 miles away, so they don't annoy me all that much either.

And WOTLK is f'ucking awesome. I finished the Har'Koa quest in Zul'Drak today (while Tristan was napping before we went to the in-laws for dinner) and the final fight was the coolest thing ever.

How about a decently educated, mid twenties, not so athletic, beta male?

It is with great regret that I inform you that your application for the position of soulmate and studmuffin has been unsuccessful at this time. A requirement of seduction by cooking is mandatory. We look forward to hearing from you in the future where we will reconsider your application Smiley: smile

Tomato Soup, some shredded cheese melted in. And a simple grilled cheese sandwich (Bread, lightly buttered on the outside, American singles on the inside).

My wife was drawn to me and my homemade chili at the party where we met. It is way too hot for human consumption but people say it's delicious!

A bit late to the show, oh well.

A friend of mine about two years ago, around the age of 18, was kicked out of his house by his mormon parents for missing church on two occasions (as he came to have fundamental problems with the church and religion as a whole). This Thanksgiving, his mom invited him to live back at home until he finished college. Not only that, but he isn't required to go to church.

So I suppose not only am I thankful that my friend got to move back home and patch things up with his parents (his mom, at least), but that his mom was able to push aside some of the incredibly strict rules of the mormon faith to allow him to live as he chooses, set aside their differences in ideas, and let him go back home.

Everyone 'round these parts is doing fine too. My sister is finally spending more time here with her kids. She was here two days in a row almost all day, which is more than she's been doing for the last 4 years. Here's to hoping she can turn it around in another year or two and take the kids back.

My parents, my mother cooked a huge dinner for the first time in probably a decade, it was awesome.

My job, I have one and intend to keep it if at all possible.

The backside of the worst president ever, followed by a historic one who has nothing to lose.

Really if Obama cant fix what Bush has broken he blames Bush. If Obama can fix it he is a genius.

I wish my job had the same standards. I really wish the guy before me had sucked so bad that if I did what was expected or even slightly better I would be deemed an abosolute hero.
