Obama has yet to be inagurated and already Democrats and their mouth pieces in the media are making excuses for President elect Obama. The free market has responded to the soon to be president and the response isn't good.

Do you believe business owners make decisions based on where they think the market will be in 6 months, how about a year?

Not only that but these owners also recognize that government can't solve peoples problems. Simply re-distributing wealth is counter productive to a free market economy. Those that have wealth are reacting by simply taking their money out of US banks and investing less.

I sincerely hope Obama can do something to stem this tide; but unless these bailouts cease we are heading for the recession, and perhaps depression, the Democrats have been speculating on the last 4 years.

I hope most of you are independently wealthy, or have parents with means.

The free market has responded

By going up 5% when his choice for Treasury was leaked? Awesome, huh? He made me a ******** of money there. Isn't it great to have a political figure where markets go up when he makes decisions instead of the other way around?

Wall Street LOVES Obama. He's the best steward of the economy they've seen in 80 years.

Obama's economic policies don't scare me. The ones who make me want to punch baby seals are neo-Keynesians like Paul Krugman.

"The recent meltdown isn't just an economic tragedy that has wiped out the wealth of millions of people, it's proof that free market economics doesn't work! Let's ramp up central planning and government spending without reliable ways to pay for it!"

Obama is the best steward of the economy now? Whatever happened to Slick Willy? Is this a case of, "What have you done for me lately?" for the Left? Poor poor Bill. First he's supplanted by a real black president and now he can't even retain the title of the bestest ever economic president of all time. Blue dresses, the Hellbeast, Vince Foster, and now this? The guy can't catch a break.
