I hear Barack Obama is appointing another African American as his Attorney General

Quote:
Obama 'picks' US attorney-general

Barack Obama will appoint Eric Holder to the post of attorney-general, according to US media reports.

If confirmed, Mr Holder, 57, would be the first African-American to occupy the senior position.

He would also lead the administration's efforts to close the Guantanamo Bay prison camp, a move Mr Obama has singled out as a priority.

Is this a racist administration on its way?

You Jewish?
Nope
You Black?
Nope
Byeee

Title is a 1970s Slade reference for the older ones. Noddy Holder for Attorney General anyone?

So negative, where is the 'can do' attitude? Besides, he may appoint Clinton as Secretary of State.

I feel sorry for the poor man. Every single move he makes will be watched like a hawk. He inherits America in financial distress reeling from a drawn out and unpopular war. People expect miracles of this man, some of which are unfounded. I'm not sure he can deliver on everything but I would like to wait to see what he does in his first few months.

This is the key point for the "Land of the free" for me

All Presidents disappoint. But at least this next one aspires to justice and humanity in a way that the current administration never even realized was needed.

I fully agree...I'm just glad it happened. Think of the gravity of this. It is ground breaking. He has a lot of weight on his shoulders, I think, and hope he can carry it. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It's kind of like Christmas.
