I spent 3 hours getting home from DC.

Getting a haircut (I get one every 6 weeks religiously, and I haven't had a split end in over a year), oil change for the car, clean the house and brunch with friends on Sunday. I need to finish my nephew's Christmas stocking before Thanksgiving so I can mail it to him.

After an emotional breakdown this morning with many tears and much wailing, I spend the day knitting each finger of a fingerless glove. I started on the middle finger of the other hand, but then realize that if I didn't get online soon I would have no chance to stay ahead of my email, that seems to gathering faster then I can delete it.
Still I wonder that when knitting a glove that leaves only the last 2 joints of each finger and thumb bare, they are called fingerless. At least when making fingerless mittens, one only has to take time to knit part of the thumb.
Tomorrow my oldest sister finally gets in town and if someone remembers to think about calling here and asking if I need a ride so to spend time with them I'll go to my dad's. Otherwise I will most likely tear one or more sibling a new opening, after I storm my way into their mists. While I'm not the black sheep of the family, I at times feel like the family leper. It's like some think that suffering from FMS and depression is contagious.

Nearly the highlight of my weekend!!!
Friday/Saturday: ate lunch with the step mom at this kick as lean gourmet deli called D'Novo, then I went and bought a new phone, the Fuze. Went to the salon and got my hair straightened, gathered with some females and went to a conference, had a blast and I just got home!
Tomorrow: sleep until it's time to pick up Kailey.
