Post-ding.

Yesterday I kept filling out all my paperwork 11-10-77. Good thing I didn't have to write any checks!

As I like to point out, my uncle's birthday is Veteran's Day (today). His brother's birthday (my father) is the 9th. And since my brother's birhday is also yesterday (we're twins) that makes four birthdays in thee days!

As well as another half-dozen friend and family birthdays in November. Apparently people get randy in the middle of February!

Many happy returns of the day!

Yeah, you're all a bunch of Valentine's Day babies.

I've got my wife's birthday on the 25th, my mom and sister's on the 19th, and my dad and his wife's on the 24th. November has a very high birthday density for me. But I digress...

Happy Birthday to you guys.

Happy Birthday and that sort of nonsense.

Also, I mock you for your continued use of EQ slang. Do other MMORPGs say "Ding"? Beats me.

Yes, 'ding' has carried over from the days when you EQ players had to ring a physical bell because computer beeps hadn't been invented yet.

In early WoW there was a boss that got stronger the more players he killed. Eventually he'd yell "DING!" and get significantly harder.

His cohort would yell, "Grats!"

I miss that zone. No one ever wants to go there any more.
