I wonder why they didn't include him in the movies... were they afraid that his character would confuse the viewers? Being on Middle Earth since the beginning? I don't believe he was created by Eru...

I never got a bad flu, but the first year I lived in IL I got the goddamn worst flu that then complicated to the point where I lost my voice for three weeks. I finally got on horse antibiotics, after I had infected my entire staff and not only made myself miserable at home but at work as well.

The year after that I got a flu shot and stayed perfectly healthy all that Fall, Winter and Spring. This year I got it again. Junior was really good last year, washed his hands and took his vitamins and stayed healthy, but this year he's been pretty spotty on both counts, so I finally made the appointment to get him the shot.

No, Bombadil is a Tom. Thom (as a complete name) is from the Alanna: Song of the Lioness books (Alanna's twin brother) and as a shortened form of Thomdril Merrilin from the Wheel of Time. Then there's also Tom Riddle.

Yeah, my son is fated to become a crazed sorcerer.
