I'm surprised no-one has commented on this.

Quote:
A Syrian diplomat called a U.S. helicopter strike on a Syrian village near the border with Iraq on Sunday an "outrageous crime," adding that Syria reserves the right to respond accordingly.

It would seem that the US Military has stepped up its efforts to get McCain into the Whitehouse, 'cos you know, he's tough on towel-heads, and stuff.....

October surprise?

Well, there was a story last night about a drone strike in South Waziristan that killed one of the supposed heads of the Taliban in Pakistan.

It isn't Bin Laden, but it's a big ol' scary terrorist.

I heard an eloquent Arab commentator on the radio playing devil's advocate.

I paraphrase, but his line was that to America, the price is so high that any threat must be pursued, wherever it is hiding, but to the rest of the world, an attack on foreign soil that is not in a state of war that kills civilians is known as terrorism.

In any case, it was, at best, a misguided act that entrenches the views of those who question USA's sense of the world.

Oooops!

But in my defence, its very summery here and I only skim posts between going to the fridge for another ice-cold beverage and hanging out on the beach with bikini clad babes who need to be closely monitored whilst they wax my surfboard.

Hows the weather in London btw?

I hate you, Mr Paulsol.

I mean it in the nicest possible way.
