Gun shops are not good places to rob. The owners (not surprisingly) are usually armed and can shoot. Also, patrons at gun shops are often armed. And often cops. Bad idea all around.

I spent 4 months outside Memphis and if it wasn't for the fact that the town had more churches then bars and they all felt it important to go door to door every weekend I wouldn't have mind living there.
Lived off base and only the kids across the street were inbred racist hicks.
Worst part actually was fact that the Mudflats were right under the flight path and every Sunday the Navy pilots would rush home during the Evening News.

I've only spent a few hours in TN on a layover in Memphis (enough time to visit Sun Studio and Wolf River Harbor to hum Hallelujah for Mr Buckley).
While there, I had a healthy argument with a Taxi Driver about whether global warming was natural, man-made or man-accelerated. I also (don't ask me how) discussed existentialism with a plumbing contractor from just outside Nashville who felt that Sartre's view was more blinkered than Camus. Go figure.
Which goes to show that no place has a monopoly on idiots, idiots can appear anywhere, and varrus is an pillock.
