Why is it that approximately 75% of Ohioans insist on making fools of themselves? I don't get it. Are we all really that ignorant?

Truthfully I almost wish that he'd lose now. Just for the sweet sick irony. But, I don't think the satisfaction of irony is enough to doom our country.

Doom your country? You're kidding right? There's no way in hell either candidate is going to do as much to ruin your country than what's been done over the last 8 years. Either candidate's presidency would fair better than the current administration has.

Someone said that Obama wasn't trying to win as hard as he was a few months back, because of the economy going down the toilet. (And now the US has attacked Syria. Thanks, Bush.)

Whoever wins has the biggest headache and mess to inherit since FDR.

#10REDACTED, Posted: Oct 28 2008 at 8:21 AM, Rating: Unrated, (Expand Post) Yea, I guess killing a senior level Al'Qaida officer is soooo bad right? I want you to denounce Obamallama when he "launches strikes inside Pakistan" to get Al'Qaida.

Protip: potentially destablising an entire region when you could have waited until he crossed the border and THEN killed him is probably a bad idea.

They killed civilians too.

If you the dude next to you had a plan to blow up your office, and the police shot him but accidentally got you too, it's all good right?

You guys are at war with the Syrians now??

Holy crap!! No wonder you fuckers can't win any wars. You already moving onto the next one before you finish the one(s) you're on.

Short attention span is what your problem is. I blame MTV.

And when you say 'we', do you actually mean 'you'? And if you do mean 'you' as in 'yourself', WTF are you doing sitting around at the computer? You should be out there on the frontline! Eating sand, squinting into the distance with your weapon at the ready, taking risks and being brave and heroic and stuff! Support your troops FFS!! Sitting on a sofa eating Twinkies isn't helping very much now is it!?

I was going to mention how I find it odd that folk like AmorTonight think dead civilians is just an 'inevitable and regrettable" part of US war fighting, but its terrorism when anyone else kills civilians. But I wont 'cos its too obvious.

#17REDACTED, Posted: Oct 28 2008 at 4:23 PM, Rating: Unrated, (Expand Post) We are at war with Al-Qaida. We struck Al-Qaida not Syria. Syria isn't exactly forthcoming in their efforts to deter terrorists from entering their country.

Nope. You blew stuff up and killed people in SYRIA.

You do know that Al Qaeda isn't a country right?

Every country in the world knows if they harbor terrorists affiliated and or associated with Al-Qaida there is a good chance that we will launch strikes inside their nation.

Yeah I heard the 'with us or with the terrorists' bollox from Bush. And I, unlike Bush (or it would seem, you) are smart enough to know that the world doesn't work in simplistic terms such as 'them', 'us', 'black', 'white', 'good', 'evil'.

And you do know that Al Qaeda wasn't in Iraq until you guys invaded??

Quote:
Also, I'm glad those of us in the military give our lives so you can spew some retarded bs and act like your intelligent(Sarcasm). But, I figure we should just let them attack us at will.

You do know that Iraq didnt attack you? Or Afghanistan. Or Syria. Or Somalia.

You reckon I support Obama? Nah. Only as far as I detest Palin. And Im quite excited to see what happens when a black fella gets elected.

Terrorists explicit seek out and kill civilians. Terrorists do not strike military facilities. The US Military does not seek out and actively try to kill civilians.

What page of the manual does that come from again?

I wouldn't feel one bit of empathy toward you at all if one of your family members were killed in a terrorist attack since you so willingly throw aside your fellow countrymen who are fighting just so you can say the things you are saying.

Sadly, the way you lot in the military have been used by BushCo, the chances of dying in a 'terrorist' attack has gone up considerably over the last few years. /golf clap.

Yup. You're wrong.

Good news, Flixa! With the departure of Varrus, we now have an opening in the UNRATED department. You can become not unlike the "untouchables" of the ancient Hindu caste, downtrodden, ridiculed, and rejected, the likes of which you've never seen!

In order to apply (your acceptance is guaranteed) you must start a stupid thr--oh, wait, welcome to the club!

Good for a second there I thought that Ohio was doomed. Although, we probably still are. Hopefully the Erie Fault doesn't become active again. That would suck.

White riot - I wanna riot
White riot - a riot of my own
White riot - I wanna riot
White riot - a riot of my own

Black man gotta lot a problems
But they don't mind throwing a brick
White people go to school
Where they teach you how to be thick

An' everybody's doing
Just what they're told to
An' nobody wants
To go to jail!

White riot - I wanna riot
White riot - a riot of my own
White riot - I wanna riot
White riot - a riot of my own
All the power's in the hands
Of people rich enough to buy it

While we walk the street
Too chicken to even try it

Everybody's doing
Just what they're told to
Nobody wants
To go to jail!

White riot - I wanna riot
White riot - a riot of my own
White riot - I wanna riot
White riot - a riot of my own

Are you taking over
or are you taking orders?
Are you going backwards
Or are you going forwards?

White riot - I wanna riot
White riot - a riot of my own
White riot - I wanna riot
White riot - a riot of my own

While I applaud your service to this country, I abhor your use of said service to support your arguments without further evidence. "I'm in the military I know better blah blah." You can do better than that.

As a double army brat, raised on an army base, I learned a few things as well. Like, don't kill people that aren't enemy soldiers. That's basic crap I learned at my father's knee when I was a kidlet. You don't attack civilians that aren't involved.

Al Quaeda is not a traditional enemy (read: they are not a country.) This is why the War on Terror has failed as hard as the War on Drugs did. You can't arbitrarily declare war on things you don't understand.

Ah, I see! Why are we after Al-Qaeda then? They clearly were just at war with the banking industry and not the USA.

I thought they were at war with the US because the US thinks its a Christian nation, and they think we're a Christian nation, even though we're actually just a nation that happens to have a lot of Christians in it.

That and they were promised 100 nubile virgins in the afterlife for every American they killed.
