I'm relieved that here in the UK, any student making baseless judgemental statement without any references or citations is sold for medical experimentation or given an audition for the Iran War.

OP is a fUcking idiot.

Here was me thinking that education was about developing people's reasoning skills, not just testing their ability to regurgitate any old crap they here about people.

PS, had you used left-wing propaganda about McCain or Tina Fey's lookeelikee, the same argument would stand.

You're irritating.

Quote:
Well, what did the biggest socialist in history do? Suppressed the media who disagreed.(his campaign cut the network the interview was on from all direct involvement in reporting the campaign)

The network was clearly trying to make Biden slip up to increase the chances of a republican win..and that's if you're talking about what I think you are, it's very hard to understand you when to talk about other threads' topics in the wrong threads.

Quote:
I'm not implying that he is a socialist, frankly I have no idea wtf he is, his entire front is a combination of bashing the old and politics meant to make people feel good. Scares the sh*t out of me. Atleast we knew more where the clintons stood.

You should really pay attention to what others post. And you know, research things.

Quote:
Anyways you cant seriously expect people to seriously debate on the internet? Theres a reason they debate behind a keyboard instead of at each others faces.

Yes you can. We've had many a good serious debate here, though they usually get ruined by fanatical supporters of either side eventually. Those people never want to look at all the facts, just the facts, or even false statements that make their favourite look good.

You should probably pay attention. I'll repost something Tarv said earlier.

Also, you talk about not understanding what anyone here is sayign and yet you post things like:

I believe SefanaPPO is referencing this interview spoken about earlier.

Ignoring requests to be interviewed by a single reporter with a blatant agenda contrary to your own is hardly "suppressing the media." 'Sides the media is already controlled by the liberal communist conspiracy. Why would want to silence his red brothers?

I find it hard to debate someone who's curled up in a tear filled ball on the ground begging to suck my dick if I'll just stop shattering their ill thought out illusions about life.

Also, while I'd never act on the urge to cave the side of your skull in for the good of humanity, I find it preferable to limit my personal contact with easily manipulated simpletons to Department of Motor Vehicles workers and fast food drive-thrus.

You're welcome.

If I were debating this point, I might want to be more specific and say why this is problematic, i.e. familiarize your audience wiht what you see as problematic about Nancy Pelosi. Of course I could have just read what Trickybeck wrote first before posting. :P

I haven't found a cite for #1 which I was curious about only because I haven't heard it harped on. I did come across this (via Obama's website)
Obama's website wrote:
Obama Voted To Increase Penalties In Child Abduction Cases.
Obama voted to amend the Sex Offender Registration Act to include in the definition of a sex offense child abduction committed by intentionally luring or attempting to lure a child under 16 years of age into a vehicle or dwelling place without parental consent for an unlawful purpose. The bill provided that a second or subsequent violation of child abduction by luring a child into a vehicle or building for an unlawful purpose is a Class 3 felony and that committing child abduction in school, or in a playground, a school conveyance, or on a public way within 1,000 feet of a school or playground is an aggravating factor for sentencing.
[90 GA HB 379 3R P 57-0-0, 5/16/97; Adopt CC Report, 57-0-0, 5/16/97; PA 90-0494, 8/18/97]

Obama Voted In Favor Of Stricter Penalties for Child Molesters.
Senator Walsh introduced this bill. He said this bill, “changes the penalty for a conviction of a predatory criminal sexual act of a child if committed against two or more children under the age of thirteen regardless of whether the children were assaulted simultaneously or separate, is proposing natural life imprisonment.”
[91 GA SB 1142 3R P 57-0-0, 3/23/99; PA 91-0238, 7/22/99; ILGA Transcripts, 3/23/99]

Obama Voted To Allow The Court To Impose An Extended Sentence Upon An Offender Convicted Of Predatory Sexual Assault Of A Child.
Obama voted to amend the Unified Code of Corrections to provide that the court may impose an extended term sentence upon an offender convicted of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child in which the aggravating factors specified in the predatory criminal sexual assault of a child statute for the imposition of the 50 to 60 year sentence are not present.
[91 GA SB 0504 3R P 56-0-0, 3/11/99; PA 91-0120, 7/15/99]
