It's a tough call, it being football Sunday and all, but I guess Obama will be at the CSU campus Sunday afternoon. I guess I'll have to try to see if I can sneak my way in and take a gander. I'm curious to see what his reception will be like, and whether they'll be any demonstrations or "incidents". There seems to be a lot of Obama supporters in this area, but I've seen quite a few McCain stickers and signs as well.

Also, I guess my ballot isn't coming by mail like I expected, so I'll have to go down to early voting this afternoon and get it out of the way. I hear everyone has been getting in and out in 10 minutes, so that's enough reason for me not to wait till election day.

Does he see me when I'm sleeping, and know when I'm awake?

I offer this suggestion, Kakar, as a manner in which you may gain some significant face time to discuss burning political issues with the Black Neo.

So I went to see Obama in Denver. The sea of people was astounding. I've been to many events over the years at Civic Center Park but I don't think I've ever seen a mass like this. 100k people might be a conservative estimate.

Next time he's touring Europe, I'm totally getting some tickets for his show. I'm not a huge fan of giant arenas usually, I prefer a quiet and intimate venue, the acoustics are better and you see the perfomers up close, but for this show I'm ready to make an exception.

Gobama!

Do you have a liberal estimate?

Really?

I bought a t-shirt back in September that still hasn't shown up. I guess if that timetable holds, I won't see it for a few more weeks.

I didn't make it to the one in Fort Collins. I checked the day of, about 5 hours before it was going to start, and saw in teh interwebs that 20,000 people had shown up and the only way you were getting in was if you took a survey and volunteered to help with the campaign till election day.

I stayed home and watched football in stead.

*edited* to add that the newspaper said it was more like 40,000 by the time the speech kicked off.
