Your name+title inspired me to go see a Numa Numa vid. Maybe that's it.

"There's something on your head..."
"What? Is it a spider? Get it off!"
"No, it's not a spider... it's like a blue thing."
"What? Like a BLUE spider? Get it off!!"

I've been thinking that if we do have kids, I'm going to secretly train them to be Yankees fans when Smash isn't around.

That would precipitate smash being the one smothering it in its sleep.

My wife and I are currently fighting the same war over Thom. She won't even consider the Mets as neutral ground.
This is because the only neutral ground between the Red Sox and the Yankees is either (1) the Cubs or (2) the Orioles.

Unfortunately, either way you're setting the kid up for at least a decade of disappointment.

Smash, Hannah, and I were on the subway the other day and a guy in the same car was wearing a Red Sox jacket. Hannah yelled and pointed, "Hey! Boston Red Sox! The finest team there ever was!" and clapped and bounced up and down. The guy smiled, but Smash beamed.
