So my son just came in a few minutes ago, foot bleeding all over the place. He'd stepped on a nail. So of course, I start thinking tetanus. After cleaning it up and then putting a call in to a doctor (who actually called me right back, shocking), turns out he had a tetanus booster before he started kindergarten. So the doc said he should be fine, just watch for infection.

Anyway, the point is, it seems here lately not a day goes by without me wondering if I'm going to make a trip to the emergency room. Kids. Smiley: mad

But seriously, I was worried, and teared up a bit Smiley: frown

My youngest son is the polar opposite of my oldest. I never had to worry about my oldest child. Good and bad, I guess. He's just kind of a lump, lol. He never did anything that would hurt him (physically). The only time he ever went to the emergency room was when he had a really bad stomach virus and got dehydrated.

But my youngest is ALL BOY. I have to make sure I have tons of peroxide and band-aids around here, since at least once a week, he comes in with blood spurting out from somewhere. And he is just one huge bruise from head to toe. He's also only been to the emergency room once, broken collar bone. But he's just six. I'm sure there are many more visits to come.

When you have a son like that, you try to find an ER that gives Air Miles Smiley: nod

I jammed a rusty nail in his other foot to test the vaccine. Seems to be working. The vaccine, that is.
