Stayin Alive good for CPR

Ok, it makes sense that listening to something that has the proper rhythm would be helpful, but it still seems like it's nearly weird enough to be an Onion article. Can you imagine if you had someone respond to an emergency situation and you could hear "Stayin' Alive" playing on their Ipod while they were performing CPR on a loved one or something, haha? I guess it would be kinda funny after the fact...you know, if whoever lived...

"Another One Bites the Dust" would work as well, might not go over so well with victim's family members.

Thank you! I'm e-mailing this to my wife right now.

Which reminds me, I need to write-in some viewer suggestions for MythBusters on this topic...I think Kari Byron would make a great test subject.

When I rang up the Royal Woman's Hospital to organise my abortion they put me on hold, and Barbara Streisand was warbling away. Something about "Children.....Children are the somethingest something, in the woooooorld...."

My abortion was an absolute necessity, a very clear cut case, and I'd never been one of those girls who'd always dreamed of being a mother, so I wasn't cut up at all about it. But geez...

I like how most of the people that post here are clear examples of American Democratic Party values. Smiley: laugh

That's just loverly.

Barbra Streisand is enough to make anyone want to hang up the phone.

And now for a little abortion/contraception humor:

"Dr. Giggles' Happy-Time Abortion Clinic: We bring out the kid in you!"

What did the sperm say as it fell into the reservoir tip? "I coulda been somebody!"
