Yeah, things were looking really grim for the Red Sox, but they turned it around; just like they did in '04 and '07.
I was pretty bummed out when it was 7-0 and was gonna shut the TV off, but I ************* it if they're going out, I'll go out with em. Then they did it again; Papi coming through when it really matters once again. And JD Drew.
It's funny about JD Drew; except for one month in the past 2 years, he's been horrible in the regular season. But, come playoff time, he gets it done. He's great in pressure situations because he's the very definition of even keel.
I wish Francona would pitch Lester for Game 6 though; he usually never messes around with his pitching rotation, but I think the Red Sox need their best pitcher on the mound. Yes, you have to win Game 7 to win the series, but you have to win Game 6 first. You don't won't to be in a situation where you lose with your best pitcher sitting on the bench. He'd be on normal rest, so that's not an issue.
Plus, if you pitch Lester, who's more likely to pitch deep into the game, you have a fully rested bullpen for Game 7.
