I quite like Olive Stone, despite his slightly paranoid-conspiracy-theory stuff, so I'll probably go and see this film when it comes out.
What amused me though, was his comments on Palin boycotting the movie:
"I don't think Sarah would understand the picture. It has a lot of complicated dialogue. George Bush is an intellectual compared to her."
Ouch.
On the bright side, I suppose it explains why Varrus loves her so much. Great minds and all that...

I'd be curious to go see it if only because I hear the acting is spot-on, and I love me a good impersonation.

Honestly, at this point he doesn't have enough credibility left to get much of anything done. The Bush administration is pretty much dead, it just hasn't fallen over yet.
Pretty sure Stone started working on it in 2004, convinced ol' George would be a one-termer.
