Alright people,

Contractors:

STOP returning material that you use everyday on job sites just to clear up enough breathing room on your account thats already 60 days past due...

Homeowners:

STOP returning material that you bought thinking you will need, only to return it 2 hours laters because you borrowed your 3rd cousin's tools/material. The amount of gas you just burned to buy/return the item already makes you dumb as hell, and now I have to process unnessary paperwork because of your inability to think ahead and plan.

The world is not ending. You will eventually use the material you purchased and be happy that you had it on your truck/garage. Don't waste $20.00 worth of gas just to return $5.00 worth of ****.

I blame Walmart and its idiotic "No questions asked" return policy that takes away any responsibility that was left with today's society.

I didn't realize that returning merchandise was irresponsible...

I have a bad habit of purchasing clothes without trying them on at the store and returning whatever I don't like after I get home. I guess I'm just irresponsible. Smiley: frown

I'd like a refund on the time I spent reading this.

Stop charging a 100% markup on items that we have to find, carry, self check out, and then pay for.

Until then, a measly 2% R&A isn't the end of the world.

This. I'm very guilty of doing this. Sometimes I don't have the right lingerie, shoes, accessories to try on the clothes. So I wait until I get home. See if the outfit really works the way I thought it would. And then I take it back if it doesn't.

I've also been known to just give the outfits to a friend or relative if I don't want to deal with the return process.
