There's nothing to worry about. Varus says we aren't in financial trouble.

Yay!

There are some places around here where it's dropped below $3. The cheapest I saw this morning was $3.39.

It was still like that when I started driving in the mid '90s.

When I started smoking, cigarettes were $1.89 a pack.

In New York City.

When I started smoking cigarettes were 50 cents a pack. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford them as I was receiving a weekly allowance of a dollar back then.

Charlottesville here. That's what pisses me off the most. They are all supposedly paying the same price and there is a .60 cent difference in the same frigging state.

Yeah, I'm super worried about how much money I'll be paying for gas in 10 years.

I had to pay $3.49 a gallon on the way to work because my fuel light came on. Of course it's $3.19 by the house and the office.

Especially since we'll all be driving bicycles by then.

If we're lucky and still have jobs, as oposed to the army of recently unemployed bankers scrounging the sewers for dead rats to build makeshift cubicle doors.

I usually get as much gas as I can afford whenever I go to Jersey since it's about 40-50 cents cheaper than New York. Today I had $3.39 in Ft. Lee (northern Jersey) but last week I had $3.19 in south Jersey/shore.

I would love to get under $3.50 for gas. Not in my neighborhood or in my work area.

It's still $4.00 a gallon here because the supply is so low. It's been taking me a half hour to fill up lately.

Atlanta, sometimes I really hate you.

Still 3.58 here in St. Louie. I'm close to empty, but I think I'll see if I can stretch it a day or so to see if the price drop makes it here first. So in that regards, thank you thread for helping me save money, hopefully.

At the end of this week, I will no longer care about the price of gas, as my commute will have dwindled to 6 miles round trip.

My office is only about a mile across town from my home. But I use my van for onsite dispatches and often do over 100 miles a day, sometimes over 300 for the Jersey trips, and get paid per mile and expenses.

Oh and locally (Rockland County) gas has been around $3.45-$3.65

We should have started offshore drilling 10 years ago! Then, Gas would be down 2 or 3 cents more per gallon!
