A new study out of Yale University confirms what argumentative liberals have long-known: Offering reality-based rebuttals to conservative lies only makes conservatives cling to those lies even harder. In essence, schooling conservatives makes them more stupid.

Yay!

The typical mantra of the left is that we don't need to sink to the Republicans' level because we have the truth on our side. I ain't got the answers, ace, except to say this: When arguing with conservatives in front of on-the-fence independents, remember that you're not trying to convince the conservative to actually buy into silly notions like facts and reason. You're highlighting the differences between left and right for the outside observer. If the other guy insists on political views that belong only in Disney World's Fantasyland, other folks will realize what's happening.

I'm still kicking myself that I got my tubes tied. It was so much fun getting pregnant and carrying to the 7th month, then getting that little parasite ripped out.

Good times...

I'm in favor of abortions in the 60th trimester.

Well the Dems think asking Palin about her stance on abortion is important; why not for Obama?
Because his stance on abortion rights has been well established during his years of public service?

Even though I'm liberal and my conservative friends would probably help support the case in the article, I have to say that it's just a tad bit skewd(sp?).

I'd also like a better test done with 'liberals' and a more varied range of arguments than just Bush related topics.

B/c it isn't really an important political issue, especially right now. Only @#%^tard rightwingers are really invested in banning the rare third trimester abortion that has always only been medically indicated for women whose life is in danger.

It's an op-ed piece on the Huffington Post, Einstein, no one expects it to be politically neutral.

Actually it is, which is why the media are protecting Obama from having to defend his support of infanticide. Obviously that protection wasn't extended to Palin.

No, it's irreleveant, only being important to a few conservatives who want to misrepresent when this procedure is used for political mileage.

No, no, Anna - we ALL wait until the 3rd trimester for our abortions. And we never carry any babies full term. All newborns are Republican. Then we Democrats snatch them and brainwash them. We try to abort them again, even after they're born, but we still haven't perfected that process yet.

Knox has found us out, the jig is up, etc, blah, blah...

I havn't heard one reporter ask him about this. Maybe i'm wrong could you provide any information that proves he's been openly asked about this?

January 22, 2008. CBN host David Brody.

July 1, 2008. Relevant Magazine publisher Cameron Strang.

April 27th, 2007. Fox News Sunday interview.

Well, gbaji would say his voting record speaks for itself, but in case you're still confused, basically he voted against a ban on partial-birth abortion because it didn't take into account the health of the mother.
Obama wrote:
On an issue like partial birth abortion, I strongly believe that the state can properly restrict late-term abortions. I have said so repeatedly. All I've said is we should have a provision to protect the health of the mother, and many of the bills that came before me didn't have that.

Tell me, what is Palin's view on abortion? All we have is what she told K. Couric. She would counsel against someone having an abortion, under any circumstances, but would NEVER consider sending a woman to jail for having an abortion. Will we have "Sarah's PSA's on Clean Alaskan Living' rather than laws, should she somehow become our country's leader?
