Explain the Damper baby to me. Is it some sort of combination plushie "companion" or something? Do you have something you wish to share with us? Cool pics Dem, it must be so cool to be able to travel

The top of Taipei 101 has that giant damper ball hanging from cables attached to the top of the tower to prevent the thing from swaying too much in the wind. Obviously, the best way to boost tourism to the tower (even though it's the tallest building in the world right now) was to turn that into some cutsie, fiendishly marketable doll of some variety.
