Ash,
You can't get around the fact that he hasn't held a real job can you? He's merely the product of liberal academia.
So you are punishing someone who, despite growing up in humble beginnings (silver spoon, my ***), was extremely successful at Harvard Law.He worked with two research groups studying international finance (helpful for understanding world markets) before working in a faith-based non-profit community based organization in a diverse working class neighborhood, requiring constant understanding of social policy at multiple levels. He worked registering voters and then lecturing on Constitutional law at law school before being employed at a firm that focused on community development and civil rights, while also becoming a state legislator.
He's had a pretty interesting set of qualifications. Many of them sound like real jobs. Btw, working in academia is a real job as well.
