I hate the way McCain waves. Silly, I know.

To make it evident that I'm not discriminating based on politics, I'll note that I hate listening to Barney Frank talk, and I really want to mess up Dodd's hair.

I hate the sound of Sarah Palin's voice. She's like Sheila Broflovski, but without any of the Jewfunny.

Agreed in hating Sarah Palin's voice. I heard it described as "Alaska raped Idaho and Minnesota was the resulting lovechild."

I've heard people with accents like hers and they weren't nearly so obnoxious. It's because she went to the Bossy Older Sister school of management, and intentinally pitches her voice in the lowest register to get more authority. It booms, nasally vowels and missing dipthongs and all. Her natural pitch is in the soprano range, however, so she ends up sounding like an annoyed fishwife.

It's all an internal bias anyway. Give me a nice calm soothing Atlanta accent any day.

I loved the charming, girlfriendish, inflection she put into this quote to Katie Couric:

"I'll try and find ya some and bring um to ya"

Wonder is she ever found Katie any examples of McCain promoting legistation that would help regulate the financial industry??

If there's anything that annoys me about Barack Obama, its that he reminds me of this guy in this movie.

Well, to be fair, whenever you hear him talking, he's probably just finished sucking some d*ck, so he has an excuse.

Agreed on Palin's voice.

"Churlie" Gibson ripped her a new one.

Black Neo speaks like one of those boring, droning, self-infatuated college professors I knew back at university. So convinced of his own intellectual superiority, he believes he can bludgeon you into compliance with monotoned stats and flat inflected exhortations to hope.

/yawn

Between all the uhhhhhhs and ummmmmmms that he liberally sprinkles into every lecture, err, speech, it's a wonder anybody is left awake at the end of a rousing call to "be the change you expect." Whatever that means...

aka

"There's nothing to be found but since I'll never be speaking to you again after the end of this interview I'll give you an open-ended response that doesn't leave me dead in the water but still allows me to get away with not being able to name anything."

New rule: If you don't know this **** before the interview, it didn't happen, and you are penalized 50 points with the given assumption that you are wrong until you can come up with the evidence in your next interview.

like this?

It died in committee. Which party do you think caused that to happen? I'll give you a hint. Look at the co-sponsors...

He also claps like a ******.

I noticed it too, but I know that he is limited in range of motion because of permanent injuries to his shoulders and arms from the whole getting tortured and beaten by the commies thing. Really makes me grimace every time he tries to raise his arms and wave, you can just see that it takes a lot more effort than what we take for granted.

Nah, that's not it. He holds his hands horizontally, with fingers splayed. You would think if range of motion were an issue, then he would just hold one hand still in front of him, roughly perpendicular to the floor and smack the cupped fingers of his other hand into the palm of the first(a la the golf clap). The way he does it he looks like a four year old making a mud pie.

Good thing she refuses to talk to the media so you won't have to hear her much!

I liked his turn on House, where he played a black state senator running for President...

I like to think he's trying to cast a spell on us.
